We welcome you to our retreat and castle hotel Burg Schlitz. At 5.30 pm there will be a one-hour guided tour of Schlitz Castle (as an alternative we offer you the massage, which is planned for Sunday).
Afterwards we will go to the ‘Brasserie Louise’, where a 3-course menu by chef Maik Albrecht awaits you.

On this day, after a hearty breakfast, you and/or your mum can look forward to a wonderful massage in our Living Room Spa (alternatively, we can offer you a guided tour of the hotel). Use the rest of the day for extensive walks in our 100-hectare park, including a visit to the chapel that Count von Schlitz dedicated to his mother-in-law, or for a short bike ride. At lunchtime and in the afternoon, our ‘Brasserie Louise’ is at your disposal à la carte.
In the evening, chef Maik Albrecht and sommelier Franziska Pauli invite you to a Mother's Day fine dining menu in our gourmet restaurant ‘der Wappensaal’. In 4 courses with accompanying drinks, you will be spoilt here at the very highest culinary level. You can also expect a musical/humorous surprise.

After breakfast, we await you at 11am for a matinée reading on the subject of ‘Mothers’ with texts by Ephraim Kishon, Christine Nöstlinger and Wladimir Kaminer.
At 3 pm, we will enjoy the Graf-von-Schlitz Afternoon Tea together, served in the tradition of Anna Maria Russel, the 7th Duchess of Bedford. In addition to different types of tea, there will be scones, sandwiches and all kinds of delicacies from the castle patisserie.
You can take advantage of the late check-out until 6 pm.
A little note: Maik Albrecht generally decides the menus according to the season and market situation. Please inform us in advance of any allergies, preferences or intolerances.
